The results are in!

Our hard-boiled eggs soaked in different liquids overnight. We checked our eggs this afternoon to see the damage that soda, iced tea, and sugar can do to our teeth. We couldn't believe the results!

Alexis's egg was soaking in Coke overnight!

Michael only drinks water. His egg soaked
in water and was the only one that was still white.

cleaned with toothpaste. Some of the brown lightened.



This experiment showed us just how important it is to brush our teeth at least twice a day! When we used the toothpaste on the stained eggs, they looked much cleaner. We promise we will try to practice egg-cellent dental hygiene!
